On Saturday September 27th, Rotorua Age Concern hosted the Positive Aging Expo in Rotorua at the Parksyde Community Centre in Rotorua.

There were over 25 stalls including Te Atawhai Aroha, Rotorua Hospice, Neighbourhood Watch, Multicultural Council, Collingwood Funeral Home and many others. There were also demonstrations of Zumba classes and Tai Chi that are run at the Parksyde Community Centre during the week.

The Expo is a chance for all people to see what the community has to offer for the older generation and it is also a great chance to get out and socialise with like minded people.

It was a great day out with much interest in Te Atawhai Aroha and what we can do for the community.
